They are back

Contacts in my eyes that is.  I haven't had contacts for about two years but last week I got some.  Also some reading glasses.  If I stuck with glasses I would have to have bifocals and just not ready for those quite yet.
Alex is playing jr high football, mostly noseguard. Andy is making more friends this year.  Peter has recovered from his hernia surgery and is slowly looking for a new job.  I'm looking for one as the boys are older but being picky about the days and hours so that I would be home mostly when the boys are not in school.

Just sayin'

It's been two years since we adopted Bailey, the poodle mix.  To the person who had her before:  May someone break your ribs and mistreat you so badly that after two years you still have a major case of stranger anxiety.  Bailey so much wants attention from anyone but she's still afraid of being hurt.  It has taken over 6 months for to be comfortable around Angie whom she sees several times a week.

It had to happen

I noticed the other day that my 12 year old baby is getting armpit hair. And little brother Alex will be 11 in 10 days.

The boys start swim lessons on Monday.

Went to the local Baptist church today, it was interesting.

When I was a little girl, daisies were my favorite flower, still one of the tops.  Am making some greeting cards for the craft sale at the church.
